Our Story

Hello Studios by lovISart is opening its doors on May 2018 by Christina Lovisa, an Ottawa encaustic and mixed media artist, who believes that art should live beyond galleries and teaching methods should be shared past inner art circles.

“Art knows no bounds and should be enjoyed by everyone.”

Over her 20-year art career, Christina experimented with a broad range of mediums from encaustic (beeswax) to acrylic paints and mixed-media sculpture and learned how to incorporate them in modern ways. Her revolutionary techniques has piqued interest from clients such as Cirque du Soleil and the Michael Jackson Estate.

She believes that her creativity has evolved rapidly over the years due to her ongoing desire to learn from fellow artists.  Hello Studios is a curation of those talented artists and innovative techniques in an inspiring space.
